We can cut many grades of foam to any shape or size you require.

This is a popular service with many of our Upholstry clients as it saves space and time by not having to stock large sheets of foam.

All of our foam is cut from large blocks and so we can cut it to any size and shape you require.  We recommend all cut units for sofa's and chairs are polyester wrapped to create a smooth finish.  We can also fit stockinette around the cut unit, allowing the cushions to ease into their covers.

Here are just some of the items we often supply cut units of foam for:

Cushions

We are able to supply any depth you require.  It is worth taking into concideration the deeper the cushion the firmer the foam will feel.  We can also laminate foam to give a firm base with a soft feel top layer.

Dinning Chair Cushions

we reccommend that you choose a medium to firm foam depending on the depth of the cushion.

Headboards

Foam for headboards can be as thick as you like but as a rule are usually 2" in a standard foam such as P33.  For unusual shapes it is usually best to supply a template.

Church Kneelers

For Church Kneelers we generally use chip foam as it is extreemly hard, very dense and heavy providing a long lasting finish.

Boat and Caravan Cushions

These can be supplied in any shape or size required.  It is worth concidering the deeper the cushiom the firmer the foam will feel.  Foam can be laminated to create a firm base with a soft feel top layer which is ideal for cushions that are used as both seating cushions and mattresses.

Window Seats

A medium to firm foam will be best for Window Seats although it is worth remembering that the thicker the cushion the harder it will feel.  For unusual shapes a template will be required.
